Sorry to waste more space on the // newsgroup but I have two
quick things about your comments.
1: Apple used a polycarbonate composite that is also used to make
bulletproof glass
to make the iMac casing and it is very tough according to many reviews.
2: The USB replaces the serial, floppy, printer, and SCSI ports and two
companies are
(Newer Technology and Imation) are already making external drives that
support 1.44meg
disks and 120meg Superdisks for less then $150.
I think Apple did a great job in creating it and it is a good successor to
the original Apple.
Personally I started with a //+ and used Apples primarily since that and
hopefully if
everything goes right I will be still be using one in 2015.
