http://www.allelec.com/ Alltech Electronics is the place to look.
When you get there, click on "Apple II" then "hard drives" and
get a Focus hard drive for $59, which includes the controller card.
You can also get your 14.4 modem here. For memory, try
the Sirius RAM card, also from Alltech, which will get you up
to 8MB. It uses SIMMs. If you don't like the loaded card, just
by it less loaded and fill it up with SIMMs you can get cheap
elsewhere.

HOWEVER, DON'T GET THE CMS II SCSI CARD that Alltech
sells. If you must have SCSI, look elsewhere.

http://www.sequential.com/ has a good SCSI card called the
RamFAST. It will let you use most SCSI devices except ones
that require the controller to have an SCSI ID. Sequential also
has an SVGA card, the Second Sight, for the IIGS. It lets you
use SVGA monitors and supports 24-bit color and 1024 pixel
modes!

Another way to get SCSI is to look for a used Apple HS SCSI
card....it does not have the RamFAST problem of not having
an SCSI ID so it will support any drive.....including Jazz drives!
