UniDOS is a piece of crap. I got it to try to put some DOS stuff on 3.5s.
You had to use its included version of DOS, based on Apple's slow version.
It used language card memory which conflicted with some apps. I ditched it
and got AmDOS. It patches DOS so you can use any version of DOS with it.
I used ProntoDOS from Beagle Bros since it was a whole lot faster than
normal DOS. Programs can't tell it from normal DOS so there are no conflicts.
The only thing you lose using it is formatting 5.25 disks, which you have to 
do while running a non 3.5 savvy DOS. No big loss there. Plus AmDOS is 
shareware, hence freely distributable.
