There is Internet support for the Apple IIgs but not the 8-bit Apple
IIs except for what you can do through a shell account with an ISP.

For the IIgs, there is a TCP/IP stack that supports SLIP (and soon
PPP) connections called Marinetti. It is freeware and it has been
said that v2.0 will be released sometime in September.

I am currently writing a POP3/SMTP e-mail client for the IIgs but it
won't be ready for release until sometime in September, too.

There are other people working on other Internet applications but I
have no idea when they will be ready for release.

There is even rumours that Spectrum Internet Suite will be updated to
support Marinetti at some time (not the v1.1 update due out soon) that
will allow 8 bit Internet connections so that we can finally download
stuff from web pages.

A web page server was also shown at Kansas Fest this year.

We are on the verge of getting to use the Internet in from our IIgs in
lots of different, interesting and useful ways. You'll just have to
be patient for a little while longer. :-)
