Apparently the entire Internet for the past week or so has been acting
pretty flakey.  Domain names seem to be coming and going from Domain
Name Servers (DNS) all over the world.  One day you could e-mail your
friend in Australia and the next day you could send a second e-mail
and it wouldn't make it to your friend because your computer couldn't
find your friends e-mail server.  (This is a simplification of how it
works but it illustrates the point.)

Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.
