Even then it would not be worth that much. As far back as 3 years
ago, I heard stories of first generation laser printers going for as
little as $5 at thrift shops (sounds like a good deal, but then they
didn't always include toner cartidges which can be extermely expensive).
As for SVGA monitors, those can sell for as little as $50 these days for
a 14" model. Prices on new 15" and 17" models have really come down
these past few months, and much more affordable than you may think. Back
in the spring I purchased a 14" monochrome VGA monitor for $10 Cdn, and
the new 17" monitor I purchased in the winter for $650 Cdn, now only
costs $450-$475.

Go try selling a loaded Apple IIgs in your local newspaper
classified or to people in one of the misc.forsale.computers.*
groups with an asking price of several hundred dollars. See
what kind of reaction you get. Odd that the only group of people
who'll see the price as justifiable are other IIgs users--then
again, maybe that is not so odd...
