The easier way to do this is to go into the SYSTEM/FONTS folder on the boot 
drive and delete the file called TrueType.List which then causes the GS to
rebuld this file the next time it is booted. You also need to do this if you
add 
TrueType fonts by dragging them to the Fonts folder.

The same procedure is true with GS bit mapped fonts except in that case
the file to delete is called Font.Lists.
