     Good educational software, though often older than many oldie
games, tends to be more or less automatically passed over by archives
and their contributors. One reason, of course, is the general assumption
that "educational" = not fun.

     Another concern may be that educational software varies greatly in
'useful life'. Uploaders and archives may be reluctant to handle old
educational software because of the checking required to be sure that it
is not still being sold and supported.
