     Dave Lyons's Nifty List CDA supplied a lot of the entries in "The
Error List" (ref. F005ERRLIST.TXT in
ftp://ground.isca.uiowa.edu/2/apple2/Faqs ). So did another on-screen
list: Jeff Tarr Jr.'s ErrorCodes CDA v1.7.

     Regarding serious software development systems, both ORCA/M and
Merlin16+ are good for Assem programmers. (I have not tried Splat!
debugger yet; thanks for the reminder.)

     It is interesting that this should come up. Just last week I was
talking with someone who has the WDC manual/data sheet for the 65832.
Evidently, it has gone to at least prototyping and testing. I do not
know if anything more has been done or if there are plans to produce the
IC.
