The IIe and II+ internal power units are the same and can be interchanged.
Both create heat inside the computer.  Mounting holes are the same.

BETTER SOLUTION:  Add the Bugg-Power 150 watt power supply with IIe plug.
It is external, and connects to the IIe power socket on a 5 ft cable.
It will power all your IIe accessories, and remain DEAD COLD with an
Apple.  NO HEAT enters your IIe, and you get no heat-related crashes or
"freeze-ups."

Its a truly superior power supply in all respects.  The only advantage
that the internal unit has is that the CPU is more easily moved around.

Soooo,  if you move your computer every day to a different location, then
stay with that lousy internal power unit ---- with all its heat.  But if
your computer stays based at a fixed location, then cool it off and
improve its performance with a 150 watt Bugg-Power!   185 units have been
shipped since Bugg-Power "roll-out" ceremonies in April 1996.
