I want you to all realize that this is my last post ever.
I finally got sick and tired of all the Apple II (comp.sys.apple2) crap.

Nathan Mates, how would you like it if someone went into your records
and found something bad that you did??  Would you like me to post it on
all the newsgroups I know of??  How about bad things your family does??
I should post those too!!

Nathan is just one example.

When I got my IIgs, I expected friendly people trying to nuture an old
and dying computer back into health.

But what do I find?

A bunch of hipocritical bastards that have nothing better to do than say
"Fuck You" to new people coming to the IIgs (or II whatever), and
belittle them to boost their own dying ego.

There have been some nice people.

People that helped me on the Save the IIgs project (Which is now dead)

People that have sent me software to get my IIgs going (Michael
something...)

People that have bought and sold Apple II goods from (to) me, helping me
learn more and experience more from my IIgs.

I have come to these conclusions.

1.  Nathan is on a serious power trip and has sever meglomania.  I
believe a trip to a psychologist would be in order.  In fact, he
probably has this problem because he was treated badly as a child.
2.  Charles Turley may have pirated stuff and done drugs, BUT IT IS ALL
IN THE PAST.  he is trying to do good now and help support his computer,
but others are standing in the way.
3.  Comp.sys.apple2 is the HOTTEST place on Usenet.  I swear, someone
could say 'How do I use a IIe Super Serial Card' and it would probably
degenerate into 'You are so stupid' 'You suck pirate' 'Kiss my ass'
'Your faqs suck' or 'Your a Nazi'.
4.  Sometimes people mistake comp.sys.apple2 for a second newsgroup for
Apple computers or the such, this is the main reason people seem to get
pissed off in this group.  Calm down people!!  Everyone makes mistakes!!

5.  Very few of the comp.sys.apple2 people have faith that their
computer will survive.  Most of them want it to die and fade away, while
others (below) get rich off of suckering people to buy $300 50meg SCSI
drives.
6.  I won't list names, but almost ALL of the companies are selling
Apple II stuff at EXTREME prices.  They sell hard drives that "work"
with Apple II's for at least 200% of what they normally cost.  Look in
Computer Shopper for good deals on SCSI drives, also the Apple II stuff
that IS referenced in there is extremely expensive.
7.  Forgive and forget.  If you truly believe that all people can repent
(make up whatever) from what they have done bad, don't comstantly knock
them forever and ever!  Like I said above, IT IS IN THE PAST.
8.  This group is for discussion of pertinant Apple II info, not for
'You did this, and here is the web page' or 'This person did so and so
XX years ago'.  Foward those messages to comp.sys.apple2.bitching or the
like.  Or better yet, don't talk about it in public anyways.
9.  If you all got together and tried to work out all your problems and
didn't stew about old problems and the past.  You all might succeed in
doing what you all really want to do, save you computer...

With that, I must go.  I know there will be post to follow, 'You are so
stupid, you 'Save the IIgs' thing will never work, you are a dumbass, I
laugh at you' or 'See what you've done Nothin??  You're going to destroy
the Apple II!!'

Frankly, I don't care.

I remember a time when I did care.

But that time is past.

And I will never see it again.

I would like to thank all of those that have been helpful and
supportive, and have tried to help me in helping.

I won't say anything bad about anybody, just that you all need to stop
the anger.

It's also no use posting as I won't even read this group again.  If you
do post (any of you) You are proving that you all want to continue in
your dicking contest and still hate, and hate, and hate.  Let this die
here.
