    Well ... in the later ROM 3s, the programmer CDA's default to 'on'
has been fixed. I know that for sure coz' I have one of those ROM 3s
without the programmer CDA enabled by default.

    I believe there is an INIT that turns it off. Can't remember the
filename though, it could have been written by Nathan *shrug*.
