Perhaps it is a little ill thought out, but your implications are wrong.  This
guy is not taking peoples' money yet, just inviting them to pledge.

As for Nathan...I'm sure Woz and (yuck) Jobs had Apple's rise and
eventual fall all planned out before they struck off on the path to Apple?
