     Like, okay. Since there was some uncertainty about the computer
type, something like "What kind of computer are you talking about?" may
have been a better response.

     Seriously off-topic non-computer stuff is a bit of a problem.
Probably, the best way to deal with non-A2 computer questions is to
answer them if you can, note that this is an Apple II newsgroup, and
recommend a Mac or PC newsgroup.

     See! You knew the answer all along. Now Jan can hop over to
comp.sys.mac.advocacy and ask any followup questions with, nonetheless,
happy memories of comp.sys.apple2.
