diskette applications. The gain for ProDOS 8 diskette users may be
significant.

There are a few HD defrag utilities available now. Maybe someone
has done Before Defrag and After Defrag access time tests on a 'nearly
full' IIgs 32MB ProDOS hard disk partition-- load/startup times for
various GS applications on the partition, file access times from
applications for pic, etc. files on the partition, ... . It would be
interesting to have some idea of the actual speed gain, if any, one can
expect.
