After a closer review of the 1WSW ProDOS 8 optimizer util. (system file
program) it's clear it won't work with GSOS.  Sorry for the post concluding
that it will.  So, there's no need to make this available - as it does not
serve the needs required.

What's needed is a good and fast GSOS application program to optimize and
defragment hard drives and media storage devices of large sizes for the IIgs. 
Does anybody have such a program?  There are none that I'm aware of that could
do this efficently and fast - (such as with the respect to the Norton Speed
Disk Optimizer - I use with the Mac).

Anybody care to write such for the IIgs and release it as freeware?  I look
forward to any replies on this question and request!
