Yo Steven...Probably does work actually although that's an interesting
theory:) I have been meaning to play with DOS.MASTER on mine but haven't the
time right now. This is what Henry's site says about DOS.MASTER which IIRC
comes with the CD that is shipped with the Microdrive:
http://www.reactivemicro.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_23&products_id=31
"Software included is ShrinkIt, Copy II+, MicroDrive Utilities, DiskMaker8,
DSK2File, DOS.MASTER and different AE Memory Testers. Pretty much
everything you will need to start transferring and unpacking software from
the Internet and using your Apple IIe."
"The MicroDrive IDE Controller is ProDOS 8 compatible. It's recognized as a
'standard' Mass Storage Device just like any Hard Disk Drive is on your
Apple II. DOS 3.3 is supported through the use of a program called
DOS.MASTER which is included with the support software."
and further
"One (1) year warranty and UNLIMITED Tech Support comes standard with every
purchase."
