A Salute to Nathan Mates

After a friend sent me a copy of the documentation from GUPP v1.06 and I read
it, I was prepaired to take action to insist its contents be modified to remove
improper
remarks concerning me. I was even ready to take legal steps to demand it
removal from all Apple II distribution on the Internet or that modifications be
made to the v1.06
documentation file before making v1.06 available for public distribution.

Having just downloaded and reviewed GUPP v1.07 - with respect to the
documentation file included with it, I've
got to make this public post, which may shock many people that read this
newsgroup.

Nathan, I salute you for the sane and polite contents of the documentation file
with GUPP v1.07. After having read it as compaired to what was included with
the v1.06 release
you've now got my full support, thanks and blessings with all you do for the
proper and useful benefit of all Apple II users.

Perhaps this may be a historical day for every reader to
thank about and enjoy. Perhaps not - that remains to be seen with future
actions and deeds towards all of us from all of us. None of us are alike in our
thoughts and nature. But, we are all Apple II users that love and appreciate
what the computer, it's programmers and its designers gave us in the past, the
present and will continue to give us in the future.

I hope this can be a day we all can start to work for the common good of ever
Apple II user, show our respect for each other and work toward a common goal
with the needs
of everybody, without hate towards any Apple II user.

Cheers & Peace!
Tom
