Merely mentioning Asimov in some favorable light would come pretty
close. Hmmmm, just a moment ... . Well, well!

A check of Natey's records shows that, a few months ago, you said
something nice about the holder of a Real Pirate's Badge and were
subsequently ranted on as a participant in the 'Lord High Nothin'
thread. As of 5/27/98, you are entered as entitled to the Real Pirate's
Badge! Be sure to check with LJ Silicon. As I recall, he is now minting
the Badges.

Regarding old MECC stuff, it may be difficult for anyone to score
credits toward a Badge. Last year a teacher trying to set up a Learning
Resources Center asked MECC for help in converting the school's stock of
copy-protected Apple II MECC titles to DSK for running on PC's. The
teacher reported that MECC reps said that nobody minded if the titles
were converted but that they did not have any deprotect info. Thanks to
Computist deprotects and MECC Copy, the titles were converted and the
LRC opened on time.

Rats! It looks like net traffic is blocking access to Willie's
Treasure Chest site; so, it is unclear whether or not MECC 'officially'
welcomes copying of old A2 titles.

It's too bad your original Oregon Trail bombed. Perhaps someone
will just email you a deprotected copy.
