Re: combining files
I know how to unencode the multiple files, I've even done it myself with
files downloaded from Ground. I just prefer to download one .bsq file
rather than 3 separate numbered files. I thought I'd ask if there was a
way for me to make a .bsq file without transfering each segment to
MS-DOS. I'm sure that if I upload any 8-bit software that users of
BinSCII definitely prefer one .bsq rather than typing the location of
each segment.
In any case, does anyone want me to upload the segmented version, or a
copy to an FTP site? I'm going to be kicked off the phone when my mother
gets home in about ten to fifteen minutes, but I'll follow up on any
requests tomarrow.
Whatever I upload will be BinSCIIed because I've been having problems
downloading plain ShrinkIt archives via HTTP using any version of
Netscape LATER THAN 2.02, and downloaders may appreciate it. Netscape
downloads BinSCII encoded files just fine with any protocall.
