Peeks and Pokes

I am evaluating the IIc as a controller for a home automation project.
In order to work, the IIc will need to communicate with an external
serial device using timed reads (or equivalent).

I have found the peek address for examining the keyboard input buffer
and the poke address to indicate the byte was read from the keyboard
buffer.

I need to find the corresponding peek/poke for reading from the serial
port. A complete list of peek addresses and poke values would be ideal.

Also, does the IIc support a date/time clock?

Please advise.
