Well...

I got into AppleII when I was in fist grade, my teacher had an Apple II plus
with _bank street writer_ - and she let me use it to type stories on.  I
remember seeing the various programs she had, and reading the manuals and
thinking "This is a COOL machine" and I've used Apple ever since! Today, I
use many different machines, including PCs, MACs, unix, etc. but my fave is
that 'ole Apple IIe I have sitting in my basement of doom!
