     Possibly, you have given Henrik an idea for something else to add
to Bernie. I do not know whether or not any Apple2 emulator can read
files from a 5.25" DSK and write them to a ProDOS 3.5" diskette (or
write them to a 3.5" DSK which some utility might convert to a ProDOS
diskette).

     Even if an A2 emulator can do some 5.25" DSK to 3.5" diskette
transfers, your big problem would be dealing with DOS 3.3 DSK's and many
DSK's created from deprotected diskettes. Some of these do not even have
identifiable files. Others employ custom DOS's, etc.. Even 'plain DOS
3.3' files would have to be converted for ProDOS or somehow transferred
to and modified for running under one of the 3.5" versions of DOS.


     The quickest, easiest solution to getting up and running with your
//c+ is to contact a local Apple2 group or user and get some bootable
utility diskettes. If there is no local group or user you can contact,
you can try searching comp.sys.apple2.marketplace for suppliers. If none
of these ideas gets you anywhere, you can always email one of the
regular Csa2 posters and offer to pay the cost of sending you 2-3
diskettes with getting-started stuff.

     Getting bootable 3.5" diskettes with ProDOS and some utils will
make a big difference in what you can do. But, you also want to be able
to access games and other 5.25" software archived as DSK, DSK.gz, and
.SDK files. To do this you will need to add a 5.25" drive which can plug
into your //c+ -- for example, a Apple II "Platinum" 5.25" drive.
