Those helper apps are, of course, very helpful for the IIe or IIc owner,
but we are talking about AudioZap 2.0 which requires GS/OS to
run and needs to be extracted with GS Shrinkit...

Not really...GS Shrinkit recognizes archives using the first few bytes
of the file archive.  All you have to do is click on "show all files" and
select your archive to unshk from...
