You only need a special kind of drive to read MS-DOS 5.25" disks. You
can hook up an AppleDisk 3.5" drive (NOT a Unidisk drive) to the PC
Transporter directly. Another possiblity is if you have a Superdrive. In
the PC Transporter menu, define a ProDOS drive and assign the slot and
drive that contains the SuperDrive's controller card. The down side to
this is that you won't be able to boot from th floppys. You will be able
to boot if you connect the SuperDrive directly to the PC Transporter,
but you won't be able to use high density disks.

If you can't find the software to activate the PC Transporter, or have
other questions, e-mail me. I have a PC Transporter in my IIGS and it's
running MS-DOS 6.22. Be sure to read the terms and conditions to obtain
my real e-mail address. I won't bill you, just the SPAMmers who solicite
money.
