Correct, and you can find out a lot more about the company and the games
in rec.games.int-fiction if you're interested. Activision, BTW, is (or
rather was until recently) still selling the Infocom games [witness the
Lost Treasures of Infocom and Masterpieces of Infocom, as well as several
game packs], so I do think the Infocom games on Asimov should be removed.

Here's some food for thought:
Nathan somewhat rabidly claims all copying of copyright material is piracy;
that even out of date no longer commercially available material still is
protected and it is therefore piracy to copy them. He is, in effect,
stating the *letter* (if not entirely the sprit, but of course thats IMHO)
of the law.

Then he replies to a somewhat veiled accusation of his using his work's
computer for slanderous purposes (and as I'm fond of pointing out, there is
a large difference between flaming and slandering someone, and slandering is
definitely illegal) by saying effectively "Peter (I think that's his bosses
name) is tired of your accusations and will just ignore you."

So.... Nathan is opening admitting he practices slander, and is saying, in
effect, that he doesn't give a shit, since there's nothing we can do about it.
Yet he purposes that Asimov is a 'haven of piracy' that should be shut down
with the full force of the law.

Is it just me that notices a certain dictotomy in his viewpoint? ;-) [or
should I say DICKotomy ;-)]
