AppleWorks GS is still copyrighted, I believe not by Claris (or
Apple), but by Scantron Quality Computers. Though they do not publish them
no more, but you should be able to pick a used copy from the InterNet
relatively cheap. I got mine for equalivant US$6.50 (box and manual)
last year ... I had inherited disks with no manuals originally.
You can download Apple's HyperCard IIGS and System 6.01 from the
Apple's FTP sites (apple_software_upgrades) for free.
Or visit the two main FTP sites for public domain programs (i.e.
shareware, freeware stuff): apple2.caltech.edu & ground.isca.uiowa.edu
You can also visit the Treasure Chest Project which lists
reclassified software which were once commercial to public domain at this
URL : http://www.tals.dis.qut.edu.au/staff/willie/TreasureChest
Others, well, you should be picking up other posts that will give
other directions where to look for, e.g. Nathan Mate's csa2 Apple II FAQs.
