Well, then, present your case. If you can show that maintaining old
out of print wares-- wares the owners do not object to having
maintained-- on an Apple II site is "piracy", those who have backed
Asimov are likely to change their positions.

This appears to be a diversion.

Very well ... As you may recall, threads discussing and examining
the W3D bug business in detail unearthed information which only served
to embarrass you, the developers, and those who trusted you.

Anyone who is interested need only review Csa2 threads beginning
with Clayburn Juniel's W3D post on 2/17/98. The truth crystallized at
last with a post by Jeff Blakeney-- one of those who trusted you and
your associates. He made a sincere, honest, well presented attempt to
shore up your collapsing position in a post on 2/28/98 ...

Good grief. "Poison that runs in your veins"?

Maybe it's stuff like the above which would cause me to miss your
presence here.

Let's see ... Ah! Here is a direct quote from page 1 of your very
own personal faqs:

Turkey's claims of "4D" sound have never been apologized for, despite
being well-shredded in a Mystery Turd

Unfortunately for Mystery Blow Theatre, the phenomenon of "4D
sound", ambisonics, etc. is well established.

Do not believe this conartist. He is a thief, a pirate, and a liar. His
wishing you to believe otherwise is purely a
front for his clearly insane activities. Why would you believe someone
who blatantly claims to be a survivor of a
CIA Mind Control experiment? Try the crack cocaine mind scrambling
program he's admitted to being on.
<<

Now, really, what is a normal, sane user who accesses your site
supposed to think about the author of something like the above? You must
admit that a reasonable conclusion is that you may well be among the
_non_ survivors of a particularly nasty CIA experiment utilizing Hatian
shell fish toxin.

Again, you merely claim that Asimov is an "illegal" site. Your
statements of opinion do not constitute a logical argument.

Asimov is not exactly a secret web site. Any Apple II old software
copyright owner need only peruse Csa2 to quickly locate the old wares
archive. Besides, you have, no doubt, already sought to notify everyone
you can that their oldie wares are maintained there. Yet, Asimov
remains. My guess is that the copyright holders told you to 'take a
hike'.

Remember, I am merely the humble Keeper of the Apple II
comp.sys.apple2 Frequently Aske Questions on Ground, not the police.
There is no evidence that the copyright holders object. There is no
evidence that legal authorities object. What is your problem?
