Some implementations of the sz and sb don't work right with Proterm.
My unix account and Proterm had this same problem until the people
running the unix system changed the programs.  Now Zmodem works
flawlessly....

The Intrec support BBS, if I remember, had a patch that fixed the
problem with some varieties of transfer programs.
