An .SDK file is an .SHK file. Even so, there is some reason for
using the ".SDK" extension.
Many DOS 3.3 games and other wares are maintained as Shrinked 5.25"
diskettes. Many of these were created via the 8-bit version of ShrinkIt.
These are generally designated as ".SDK" for two reasons:
1. GS-ShrinkIt will not unShrink DOS 3.3 and other non-ProDOS Shrinked
disk files created by 8-bit ShrinkIt. 8-bit ShrinkIt can unShrink 5.25"
Shrinked disk files created by it as well as by GS-ShrinkIt. The ".SDK"
extension informs users that the diskette may need to be unShrinked via
8-bit ShrinkIt.
2. Whether ProDOS or non-ProDOS, the ".SDK" extension informs users
that they are dealing with an entire disk rather than just a group of
files.
