Re: Trying to set up an portable IIc+

It would be easier to run the IIc from a car 12v DC cigarette lighter,
rather than the IIC+. The IIC input will accept +12v DC to +17 v DC.
The IIC+ always expects AC 120v.

I have a green-screened 9" monitor that has an input labeled for 12v DC.
I've not tried it on 12v dc., but if anyone wants this monitor, I'd sell
it for $25 plus shipping. Its got a sharp focused image with good
contract, equivalent to the Monitor IIc.
With this monitor, and with a IIC, you could have a "car-portable,
operated from the cigarette lighter. Use 20 ft cords, and you can use
your IIc in a picnic table next to your car! And the 12v DC monitor is a
REAL monitor, easily seen with bright text numerals.
