Teach/Shadow Write Question

I opened a text document in Teach, and started to do some editing.

On some of the lines I try to 1)click the mouse at the beginning of the 
line to move the text cursor to that location 2) press SPACE or TAB to 
move the line away from the left margin.


The text does not move to the right when I press space or tab.  I do get 
some strange wrap arounds, and text starts to                  get jumbled 
all over the 


screen.

Just like it did up there ;)


Is there a way to turn this off?  I get the same problem in ShadowWrite, 
and I have tried to change the text between LEFT/Right/Centered modes.
