Louis, MacSoundGrabber is an old program that chokes if the sound is
greater than 64K in size. Try reading the sound with Audio Zap,
a shareware program. It is on the ground and Caltech ftp servers,
but if you want, I can post it to comp.binaries.apple2 for you. Use
Audio Zap to open the sound file. It will ask you whether you want
to open the data fork or the resource fork. If you don't run the
Sounds through another conversion program first, Mac sounds should
be resources.

Use Audio Zap. It can grab as large a sound as you have memory for.
After you grab it, you can save it as a raw sound file that can be
loaded into Sound Shop. You don't need to run the sounds through
Sound Converter first. Take the raw System7 sounds to the GS.
