Greg, I too have used this program long ago, but I've forgotten the name.
Could you look in your collection of programs to let us know? I am sure
this information is helpful to many. I went to the liquify server and found
http://liquefy.isca.uiowa.edu/8/ground/apple2/Collections/AOL/
development/applications/EXTRACT.SHK, which may or may not be
the right file.

It is much easier and efficient to format a cross platform drive in ADU
on the GS than on the Macintosh. You don't have to fake format, move
around, erase, and all that jazz. If you could provide the name of the
file, we could possibly get this information into one of both of the Apple
II FAQs for all to know.
