Well, I've done it a lot with ADU.  Inside of ADU there is ageneric MacOS
driver which can be extracted by a program someone wrote once upon a time.
It's been a long time since I used the program, but have kept the Mac SCSI
driver in my driver folder since then.  I have a 44MB SyQuest on my GS and
had a 200MB SyQuest (both of the 5 1/4 inch variety) and I could take the
carts from the GS and mount them with no problems on my Mac and that SCSI
driver would work just fine.

It seems sort of ironic that the GS could put a generic SCSI driver on
HD's for the Mac when the Mac couldn't up to a short while ago.
