Yes the two chips are labeled Sound Ram
just in front of keyboard, midle of GS.
It's 4164 ram type chip. Each chip is 64k x 4 bits
so you need two to have 64k x 8 bits.
These chips are common to find.
Take a look in Radio Shack shop.
Take care of GS motherboard when soldering.
It's multi-layer printed circuit.
