Print problems with System 6.0.1

I tried printing from Teach and got nothing. I saw boxes saying stuff like
Preparing image for printing and X pages left to print but the printer
just sat there doing nothing.

I checked my printer port settings. All standard settings as indicated by
the check mark except I had buffering selected to yes. I changed it to no
and tried again. Still no luck.

I opened my drivers folder and had a look. I have an "Imagewriter" driver,
last modified May 6, 1993, a "printer" driver, same date, and a
"TEXTPRINTER" dated Nov 1, 1991.

I tried using Open-Apple-I to get the version numbers but it didn't
provide that information. If this is important, how do I find out?
