Amateur Radio A2 Use

I'm new to Apple II although I've been a Mac user for years.  I've
fallen in love with the Apple IIc+ as a neat machine that reminds of the
old less complicated days of computing.

I'm a keen ham radio enthusiast and would like to use the Apple IIc+ for
my hamming.  Are there any hams out there who could advise on what
software is available and where I might ftp it?
