The Greyscale Enhancer (to my knowledge) does not provide any RGB
support, it was a separate product from the company's RGB adapter for
the IIc port. Neither product sharpens the RGB monitor's picture or
color, the latter just produces a digital RGB signal (which is just
naturally sharper, picture and color wise, than any color composite
monitor).

What the Video-7 Greyscale Enhancer does, is show colors on a
monochrome screen in decreasing levels/shades of grey (or green or
amber, depending on your screen). Normally the II+/e/c/c+ will just
show colors made up as different dot patterns. Incidentally, the
IIgs (with 'Monochrome' set in the Control Panel) and the Apple III
display both native _and_ emulated graphic modes in shades of grey
without the need for such an adapter on a monchrome screen. It makes
different colors distinguishable on a monochrome screen.
