I agree on most or your points. Too much time is spent by a few defending the
copyrights of those who don't care what happens with their products. I guess
someone died and left a "few" in charge!

As for the piracy issue, now that Dr. Tom has left, there's really no one left
to attack. This is pretty much a dead point anyhow as the only new release of
GS software that I've seen is SuperConvert4 and I bought it.

Development of new stuff! Heck, people have to be willing to buy it! Also, the
developer has to go into it with his/her eyes open. You will not make a living
from selling or developing Apple II software, unless you live at home or at the
"Y".

As for the original post, my ISP has had a huge problem with MCI where they get
their news feeds from. There has been a ton of activity in this group lately
and surprisingly 99.5% has been positive!
