Neither the Appledisk 3.5" nor the 'Superdrive' 1.44MB drive will
work on a //c. Only the 'Unidisk' 3.5" drive will work, and then only
if you don't have the first (255) revision of the //c's ROM. As noted
in the csa2 FAQ at http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html
section 2.4, from Basic, do a 'PRINT PEEK(64447)' (no 's) and look at
the result. If it's 255, forget connecting a unidisk. If it's 0 thru 5,
you have a chance.

Something about "plug and pray" comes to mind... Nobody's innocent.

See the pinouts as listed in the csa2 FAQ section 4.21 or
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/pinouts.html and get a soldering
iron. Or, from section 2.4 on the //c again, several vendors are
listed if you don't feel like building a cable for the very oddball
port.
