If all you want is a souped up Apple IIe compatible it would be
fine -- assuming you have an extra ADB or IIe keyboard in your spare
parts collection (to use the IIe keyboard would require that this
motherboard has the connector pins in place, not empty solder pads).
Otherwise I agree, it costs US$30 to get the upgrade ROM from
Alltech (unless you have access to an EPROM burner) and a fair bit
more to buy an RGB monitor, ADB keyboard and 3.5 drive separately.
Probably better to just use it for spare parts, or as a collectable
if it has the original VGC and 'Woz' signature case.
