With the 5.25" drives on a standard PC and //e, there's no way
you'll be able to do this. The physical writing to of the disks are
done in completely different formats, and you'll need (rare) addon
hardware to overcome the gap. Same deal with DSDD 3.5" (800K on
Apples, 720K on PCs) disks-- the formats are quite different. Only
with the 1.44MB 3.5" drives (very rare on a //e) did both sides
finally agree on a common disk format-- the PCs.
Null modem is your best method for sending data from PCs to Apple
IIs.
