Well, you can down load an emulator from
"ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/"...
There is a directory marked "/emulators/", look for one that doesn't require
a ROM copy (you'll know, because they won't work if they do require one).

Unfortunately, because Apple and IBM decided to go two separate ways with
disk drive structure, you won't be able to run those old programs from your
disks.
The good news is that most of these programs can be downloaded from asimov's
"/images/" directory.
Another thing: If you could find someone kind with an AppleII and an IBM
clone, you can connect them easy, and transfer the Apple disk into an
emulator file on the IBM side.
There is a nice little program called "ADT" (Apple Disk Transfer) located on
the same site, with all of the instructions to connect them.
