Almost all of the cards in the IIe will work on a GS except for 
accelerator cards.  Cards that you wouldn't use on the GS would be

1) Serial cards--The GS has to serial ports built-in

2) Clock cards--The GS has a built-in clock

3) Aux Slot cards--No 60 pin slots

4) Ram Cards--The GS has its own Ram card slot that can take up to 8megs
   Of course if you just have to have a little more you can use it.

5) Video cards--GS has its own built-in RGB video as well as NTSC video.

Downloading on a Mac is easy, all you need is a program to "Unshrink" files
like Shrink II on the Mac or GShK for the GS.

Format the disk for 800K Prodos and copy to disk to use on the GS.
