Help with Marinetti

I've got a question here...

I've got a 28.8 modem in my PC on internal COM1, and have an external COM1
and COM2 on the back of the PC (duh).

The Marinetti site and FAQ say it's possible to connect your GS to your PC
using a serial cable... how would I go about doing this?  I really don't
want to browse the web with my QMODEM 2400 ;o)
