Re: Disk ][ drives look good! :)

BUGG-DRIVE (enhanced Disk II drive with two extra features)

If you like the classic DISK II, then you ought to get my BUGG-DRIVE with
two enhancements!

The BUGG-DRIVE Disk II was described fully in a two-part article (II
ALIVE, Summer 1996 and also Fall 1996).

The two features are as follows:

(a) three-way write protect switch: always-write, always-protect,
	and normal notch-controlled.

(b) front panel mini-knob to adjust rotational speed.

BUY A BUGG-DRIVE: $20.00 plus $6.00 shipping.

SWAP 2-FOR-1 FOR A BUGG-DRIVE:

Send me TWO ordinary Drives and I will send you ONE Bugg-drive.
Other multiples okay also: Send six, get three, etc.

Try one and see! With Bugg-Drive, you no longer must mutilate the disks
by notching them. You can write on the backside with no notch.

I am behind on shipping them out, but will make a huge batch (20-30
Bugg-Drives) over the Christmas break.

On the platinum 5.25" drive, I have succeeded in putting the 3-way switch
and am still working on the speed knob. But the spacious interior of
Disk II is perfect for these improvements.

Long live Bugg-Drive Disk II!
