I believe I'm correct when I say you have "shifty list" installed. It
allows you to have a list of inits, CDevs, etc that will be loaded when
you shift boot. As you found out, when you ctrl-shift boot it acts as tho
you shift booted without shifty list installed. There should be something
like a CDev or FinderExtra that allows you to configure it. If you wish to
remove it there are about 5 files scattered thru the System folder that
need to be removed or reinstalled from the System Disc. I think you had to
replace Start.GS.OS, but don't quote me on that.
