Transwarp and Apple High Speed SCSI card question....

Does any one have any experience using an Apple high speed SCSI card
with a Transwarp in a platinum ][e??

At present, my hard drive (88MB Syquest) wont work with the
transwarp unless I hold down escape on boot up disabling the
transwarp. 

If I have the transwarp switched on for the SCSI card in the jumper
block, it tries to read the hard drive and just hangs. If I switch
it off in the jumper block, it goes to read the drive, the screen
then fils with inverse, normal and flashing characters and the drive
light stays on.

If I hold down escape thereby disabling the card, the drive runs
fine.

The self test on the Transwarp is fine.

Any ideas on the problem???
