A machine name or IP # for a machine on the internet-- for example,
the part after the @ in an email address. You normally only telnet to
machines on which you have an account or the address has some
public-service info-only content like some weather servers. For
getting information, the web is far more suitable, as no accounts are
generally used. [Except for when the admins decide that accounts
should be used]

Sign up for accounts first; those'll tell you where to telnet to.
>What is Delphi's address?
delphi.com but as noted above, an account is necessary first.

As linked in from the csa2 FAQ, see http://www.faqs.org/faqs for
hundreds of them. Or, sit down with an admin of your ISP and schedule
a long chat to be filled in on how things work. [And if your ISP
prefers to take money and never educate you, they should be taken out
and shot]
